A guide to creating menu bundles on Wolt

Use items already on your menu to create bundle offers, combo meals, and deals that can help increase order value.

Overview

Menu bundles can help customers add more items to their order while making ordering faster and easier.

With the Listing Manager in the Merchant Portal, you can create meal deals, combo offers, and Buy One, Get One (BOGO) promotions using items already on your existing menu.

Bundles are a simple way to:

  • Encourage larger orders

  • Promote popular item combinations

  • Highlight special deals

  • Make offers easier to discover in your menu

Type of menu bundles you can create

Listing Manager supports three bundle types:

1. Standard bundles (fixed items)

Fixed bundles include a set combination of items. Example: Burger + Fries + Drink. Customers receive the same exact items included in the bundle.

2. Category-based bundles (customizable)

Customers choose items from different categories while keeping a fixed bundle price.

Example:

  • Choose 1 Main

  • Choose 1 Side

  • Choose 1 Drink

This gives customers more flexibility while keeping ordering simple.

3. Buy One, Get One (BOGO) offers

Customers buy one item and receive another item for free.

Example: Buy 1 Pizza, Get 1 Soft Drink free The free item does not need to be the same as the purchased item.

How to create bundles in Listing Manager

1. Open Listing Manager and create a bundle

In the Merchant Portal:

  1. Open the Listing Manager

  2. Select Create

  3. Select Create Bundle

You’ll then be asked to choose the type of bundle you want to create.

2. Add your bundle name and description

Choose a clear name that helps customers quickly understand the offer.

We recommend using words like Bundle, Combo, Deal, Meal.

Examples:

  • Lunch Combo

  • Family Meal Deal

  • Burger Bundle

Add a short description explaining:

  • What's included

  • Any savings or promotional details

Keep descriptions short and easy to scan.

3. Choose where the bundle appears in your menu

You can:

  • Add the bundle to an existing category

  • Create a new category for bundles and deals

We recommend placing bundles near the top of your menu so customers can find them more easily.

Example category names:

  • Bundles

  • Combo Deals

  • Special Offers

4. Add items to your bundle

The next steps depend on the bundle type you selected.

For standard bundles (fixed items)

Choose the items you want included in the bundle.

Requirements:

  • Minimum: 2 items

  • Maximum: 4 items

Popular combinations often include:

  • Main + Drink

  • Main + Side + Drink

  • Family sharing meals

You can also use AI-generated suggestions to help create bundle ideas faster.

For category-based bundles (customizable)

Select the categories customers can order from.

Example:

  • Main

  • Side

  • Drink

Listing Manager automatically adds items from the selected categories. You can remove items or adjust the available choices at any time.

For Buy One, Get One (BOGO) offers

Choose:

  1. The item customers will pay for

  2. The item customers will receive for free

The free item does not need to be the same as the purchased item.

Example:

Buy 1 Pizza, Get 1 Soft Drink Free

5. Set your bundle price

For standard bundles, the initial price is automatically calculated based on the selected items.

For category-based combos, the price is automatically calculated as the sum of the cheapest item from each selected category.

6. Add images to your bundle

Bundle images are automatically created using images from your selected menu items.

You can also:

  • Remove images

  • Upload your own images

  • Edit images manually

Clear images can help customers understand the offer faster while browsing your menu.

7. Add discounts to your bundle

You can apply:

  • Fixed amount discounts

  • Percentage discounts

We recommend:

  1. Setting the original bundle price first

  2. Adding a separate discount afterward

This allows customers to clearly see the savings through strike-through pricing.

Bundles are a simple way to highlight popular item combinations, promote deals, and encourage larger orders. Start with your bestselling items, test different combinations, and see what works best for your customers.
